Biography
Dr Pradeep K Singh is currently the Professor and Head of Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Jawharlal Nehru Medical College, Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, University and heads the Spine speciality at University hospital. He graduated from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital, Jabalpur in 1996 and received his MS degree in 2001. He worked as Senior Registrar at Bombay Hospital and Research centre, Mumbai from 2001 to 2002.In 2002 he joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at NSCB Medical College and Hospital, Jabalpur. He worked in the Arthroplasty Unit at South Tyneside District Hospital, South Shields, and Newcastle for 6 months in 2006 and later joined as an Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, DMIMS Sawangi, Wardha. He did his Fellowship in Spine Surgery from Singapore General Hospital, Singapore and Minimal Invasive Spine Fellowship from Germany.He did complete his PhD in Orthopaedics from DMIMSDU.Dr. Singh is currently the Head of Department of Orthopaedics and Director of Spine Unit. He is Editor in chief of The Journal of Orthopaedics and Allied Sciences.
